You are looking at Canada dollars not USA. It’s not cheap. Ours was loaded at $45k. They hold their resale. Saw several used 2023 units with a firm asking price of 41k. It came down to an Airstream Bambi for us. The Bambi wasn’t as nice and was 20k more.
There are several American...
Its going to be a Corolla. I’ve had two Toyota RAV4s and I two Mavericks and I would take the Maverick every time.
I thought I wanted a Tacoma and test drove one, a Colorado and a Ranger. Ended up buying another Maverick. If I had not bought another Maverick it would have been the Ranger...
Not yet. I will wait until grandkids are in town. I have toured it. Kind of pricey when I can stay at Sardis or Enid Lake for $13 a night with full hook ups.
Around 2700. Max is 3500. I had it close to how we would travel and had 850 lbs less than the GCVWR of 8130. I was under the max for both the trailer and truck by about 600lbs each. The GVWR of the Mav is 5320 and the trailer’s is 3500. Together these max weights exceeds the GCVWR of 8130...
Sold my 2024 XLT Mav Hybrid and bought a 2025 EB Mav Lariat with the 4K package. Jacksonville Fl to Oxford Ms (near Memphis) 18.5 mpg and hardly knew the trailer was back there.
What’s the largest (length and weight) any of you have towed With the 4K towing package with brake controller on a Maverick. I’m thinking of buying a 19ft trailer with a 3300 dry weight. I’ll keep the total at about 3800 and tongue weight under 400. I know I’m pushing the specs.
I have a...
I tried to make a distinction of what weight distribution and sway control was. You are correct there are weight distribution hitches, weight distribution with sway control hitches and several forms of only trailer sway control. My comment on a heavy trailer was a weight distribution added...
A WDH with sway control attaches to the truck’s receiver hitch, not directly to the tow vehicle. Maverick’s with a 4K tow package have a Class 3 hitch. Class 3 hitches can be used with a WDS and exceed what a Maverick is capable of, 8000 lbs and a tongue weight of up to 800 lbs. The...
After reading hundreds of pages about towing with a Maverick on this site, a lot of the information is confusing. Many have said you don’t need a WDH because the Maverick comes with sway control. Let’s be clear. The sway control that comes on the Maverick applies brakes to different wheels...
I got the tri-fold hard top from Rough Country. They have two. The more expensive one folds all the way up to the back of the cab. Easy to put on. Easy to use. No water even going through car washes. I’ve had the more expensive brands on my F-150s, but I love this one.
It may be a GM style but I had one on my last F-150 and they are available on F150/250 and Rangers.
As for how often I get into the bed the answer is whenever the bed is needed. If you are just putting groceries are small stuff in the bed you don’t need a truck. I traded a Rav4 because I...
Does anyone know of a retractable step for the Maverick bed. I know its not that high, but I’m 73 and my balance is not what it used to be.
Tired of having to use a step ladder to get into the bed.
Thanks.
Toyota is supposed to have a Corolla Truck in 2025. The problem is the huge markups on mid and full size pickups. There is more profit in these larger trucks. Car manufacturers are not interested in how many vehicles they can sell, they are interested in how much profit they can make.
I...
I just did a 1700 mile trip from Oxford Ms to Richmond Va and back in a 2024 hybrid. Drove 6-7 miles over the speed limit whenever possible. The trip was from Oxford/Huntsville/Chattanooga/Knoxville/Bristol/Roanoke/Charlottesville/Richmond and back.
Averaged 37.8 mpg.
No problems even in the...
