Hello Everyone!
Recently, XL Hybrid threw a P0811 code (same circumstance as most: flooring it to get to the freeway). This actually happened a couple of weeks ago.
Since then, I got it diagnosed and they say it need a new clutch dampener, as other has posted too.
But my problem is like this: I'm living in Washington state but I'm moving to Arizona at the end of Aug and the advisor from the dealership does not know if the part and the appointment for the repair will be here before that date.
So I was wondering, have anyone done any long driving after a P0811 has been thrown?[1] And if so, is it advisiable to do it? If I take the chance and do it, what are the precausions you recommend?
Thanks for the help!
[1] The only reference that I've seen about something similar is here, but this long distance was more out of necessity than choice.
