Installing extra USB charging ports

I would like to install extra USB charging ports in my 2023 XLT next to the power port. See red circle in photo. Does anyone know how the plastic panel comes out so I can drill a mounting hole and access the wiring?

I went the easy and cheap route... currently less then 7.00 on Amazon. A million different options and plugs into any cigarette outlet. The built in voltmeter is helpful too!

Once in a while when needed on road trips I'll use this micro 12 volt fast charging USB dual port then you added two extra ports without cutting holes or adding anything to your dash. The nicest thing about it is it sits flush with a 12 volt port and will allow you to leave it in there and close the flap if you so please. I keep wanting all three of my cars. Plus it's super cheap, usb-a & usb-c

This seems like the no brainer common sense way to go. Why over complicate things with drilling and pulling things apart and wiring when there is an easy plug & play alternative? Talk about over complicating things. And if you also need USB C there are 12V plug in chargers with both USB-A and USB-C.

I made this up for my Cubby. The USB cost $15 from Amazon.

The Bracket That fits the Cubby Hole I got from GadCAD off of Etsy. I don't have the info for him. He made the bracket special with the hole for me.

I'm Going to run the the wires to the Fuse box on passenger side to 1 or 3 I think are open.

I did something similar to run a wireless charger but you can use the same concept to run that plug.

To run the wire drill a small hole in the bottom right corner of the cubby and fish the power/ground wire through it and into the fuse box under the pax side dash.
