This may be old news for you "professional modifiers", but I recently replaced the door speakers in my XLT Hybrid with some Infinity 6.5" speakers. They sold on Crutchfield with all the installation items for about $85. I have also been with Spotify as they seem to have the highest digital signal of all the services. Without spending a bundle of money, I get several comments about how crisp and full the sound is in my Maverick. I have always had several NICE audio systems in my home, but this sound certainly impresses given the price of the truck and the upgrade. No need to ride with me unless you're into late 60's, 70's, and a few 80's music! BTW, I ruin the Maverick demographics as I am 71 and a former Ford dealer. ENJOY your trucks; I couldn't be happier with mine!!

I use Tidal Music, it's about 4x the quality of Spotify. 1,411 kbps vs 320 kbps. They also offer Military and First Responder discounts. I pay $5.99/ month with Military discount. Normal price is the same as Spotify @ $9.99/month.

I am also on a Spotify family plan and use it occasionally, but there is a noticeable quality difference in my Lariat Lux Maverick using Tidal, wasn't so much in my old Sport Trac.

Infinity speakers = I used an older version in other vehicles [Volvo 240 series] in the past. Good, clean, honest sound quality. QUESTION: I never see any comments on the B&O system found in the Lariat Lux package. Anyone want to comment?

Long time DJ and ran Pro audio systems. Was always a huge debate in the community… folks that swore by running only giant non compressed files vs mp3. Always felt 320 was close enough to be nearly indistinguishable from the huge files on most sound systems. The areas where the compression began to show didn’t really become obvious unless it was played on really powerful system—certainly not what will squeeze in the cab of the Maverick I may or may not ever get to receive.

My B&O sounds great after changing the rear speakers, center speaker, and adding a Kicker 8 hideaway sub under the rear seat, Lol.

The rears were awful and sounded like an 80's Walkman. The center speaker was not great and was overpowering, I put in a JBL Club 3020 I already had, with a 4ohm resistor. Sounds Much better.

The Kicker hideaway was a Massive improvement in Bass.
The doors and tweeters sound really good, enough that I'm not spending the money, more importantly time, to replace those.

Yes the B&O sounds really good. I listen to a lot of bob marley on Sirius and the bass is excellent. I’ve heard some haters dog it but I’m ok with it.

Shows how old and out of touch I am. I never heard of Tidal Music. I will definitely be checking them out. THANKS!!!

The B and O system is just shy of amazing. I am VERY impressed with it.
