The ones you ordered, are they the "slimeline window visors?" Kept looking for a glossy option but its either matte black or slimeline, figured Id reach out to confirm. This is the link Im looking at:

https://realtruck.com/p/egr-slimline-inchannel-window-visors/v/ford/maverick/2023/

Do you find you have any issues with the way they match the rest of the truck? Doesn't seem like itd be much of an issue, but tough to tell from pictures sometimes. The visibility issue of the matte black seems like a big con, so Im leaning towards these ones like many others on this thread.

On the EGR website they are both listed as Slimline. Yes that link is correct. Here are a couple of full pictures of my truck. I still love them. No visibility issues, they give a good look I think.

Also... They are $75.05 on the EGR website currently.

FYI, you can also call them to place your order and ask for a MTC discount.
that's what I'm getting into this afternoon............$20+ off is a super nice deal. Ended up be $20.95 less than just ordering from their website, plus free shipping. $69.72 total.

Can someone please tell me the external dimensions of the box?
Wondering if it'll fit in my carry-on.

I've recycled my box, but according to my FedEx delivery manager the shipping weight was 4lbs and the shipping dimensions were 44x13x3 in. Too long for a carry-on, and what I remember from the lack of padding inside the box I wouldn't expect it to survive being checked baggage on an airline.

In your case (at least my guess at your situation based on your question) I would have it delivered to a pick-up location or friend's house at your destination.

Be sure to follow the instructions with rolling the windows up a few times. I did that and then left the windows up for a day to make sure they seated correctly.

Super easy install, took longer to clean the area than installing all 4
Wonder why there’s tape for the rear windows but not the front?

Mine had way too much space on the front windows so I added that same tape to them. Previous ones I've had on other vehicles had tape on all 4. It made a difference in wind noise and when rolling/up down. It's likely because the design is "adequate" enough to hold itself in place and they didn't want to waste money on the adhesive. Lots of vehicles require it and do not carry all the way through near the side mirrors. If there is a gap that you notice eventually, like mine had a slight rattle when open and closed, just use 3M exterior tape.

I wondered the same thing, so I didn't bother with it. Found out when I rolled the back window down and the visor fell out. Luckily, I was parked and cracking my windows to help keep the truck cool while parked. Needless to say, I peeled the backing off the tape and reinserted into channel. Haven't had a problem since.

Thinking about getting some of the 3m tape for the front ones also? it's going to take a little getting used to driving with them on the front windows, I haven't had them on a vehicle in a long time but don't recall them being so noticeable when driving. But I like the look the give the truck

On my truck the front deflectors are a nice snug fit. they don't rattle or shift, no tape necessary.

Is there a MTC code to use on their site? - Been waiting and watching, and these are the only in-channel units available, and I really miss cracking the window for air on rainy days. (Had visors on the last two vehicles since 2021...I don't upgrade often).

I PM'ed the @Realtruck account here with a list of items that were on their online webstore, the EGR in-channel window visors (smoke for me) were in the list. Everything on my list got a MTC discount. I got $14 off (18%) on the window visors. Once I provided him with first and last name, email address, phone number and a good billing and shipping address, I got a purchase link to initiate the order with the discounts applied. Couldn't have been more frictionless.

I even got a discount on 3D MAXpider Kagu floor liners, not even one of the RealTruck brands. I must say that I was surprised and super pleased on that one. I had included it as a "doesn't hurt to ask" line item in my list, fully expecting an apology that they couldn't provide a discount on that line item.

In case you haven't heard, finally some "IN CHANNEL" style Side Window Visors made by EGR are now available instead of the stick on style which I never cared for.

If your interested:

RealTruck: https://realtruck.com/c/exterior-ac...ors/v/ford/maverick/2022/?mounting=In-Channel

EGR: https://egrusa.com/products/slimline-window-visors
Good to know. The in channel type are the only ones I buy. Look nicer IMHO plus they usually have a greater coverage depth.
