I currently have Bronco Sport wheels with my original tires on my carbonized gray AWD Maverick. This is fine for running around town and highway use and I appreciate the gas mileage that I am getting with this set up. When they wear out I will replace them with a better grade of tire, probably in a 235/65/17 size.

In the mean time, my father gifted me some brand new 245/65/17 Cooper Discoverer AT tires that he no longer has a use for because he traded in his old vehicle. My plan is to get another set of TPM sensors and mount these on my steelies for winter use only. I just can’t make up my mind with what I want to do with the rims. Here are some of my ideas (cheap) which I am looking for feedback on.

1. leave them as is
2 . paint the wheels gloss white with the centers mat black.
3. paint rims and centers gloss black
4. #3 with trim rings
5. paint rims and centers bronze
6. plastic coat (black) the center portion of the rim and centers while leaving the edges painted silver.

I roll as is on my velocity blue Maverick XL, but I have a silver F250 with steel wheels that are painted satin black with chrome center caps

In my opinion both ways looks good depending on vehicle color

Here is how it looks with hubcaps, and beauty rings. Hope this helps

I went the easiest/cheapest route and sprayed the centers of the wheels with gloss black Plasticcoat paint. They came out “OK” and overall I like the look better than all silver. They are only for the winter and then I will switch back to the stock all seasons for better MPG’s. The tires are definitely louder but handle pretty well for how aggressive they are. Can’t wait to try it in the snow!

Looks good. Alto Blue? I am thinking of doing the same once I get my Alto Blue AWD - as I look out the window at about 8" of snow. Could you take another picture straight on? Losing some of the view to the shadows.
