I am gonna try not to whine...
I post this simply as an exemplar of how this process is going.

Reserved with Ford 7/26/2021
Order Confirmed 9/24/2021
Chatted with Ford 5/6'22 and was informed my truck is scheduled 5/30/22
Email for Schedule 5/13/2022
Email for Reschedule 5/21/22 informing week of production changed to 6/6/22
Tracking site shows "In Production" 6/2/2022
Find Window Sticker 6/3/2022
Build DATE shown as 6/9/2022
Tracking Site No longer lists "In Production" 6/10/22
New production week email 6/14/2022 now shows Build Week of 6/27/2022

Today I get a New Production week of 7/25/22.

If you look above you will notice that is PRECISELY 365 days after my reservation!

Kind of ruins my day.

Yup and shipped by rail to its truck transfer destination , where it sits waiting for its final ride to the dealership

I'd love to echo the common sentiment of "the wait is worth it" but honestly, I think I would've given up by now. I waited 8 months for mine, many of which were when no one could get the hybrid. I love my truck but I dunno if I'd have had the patience to make it a whole year. Kudos to you for hanging on!

I guess GAS PRICES may be helping...

If this were a normal year and cars were in steady supply then there is no way I would have waited. But being that all the dealers in my area have maybe a handful of new cars and several used cars that are marked through the roof, I just feel like I have no choice but to wait. I refuse to pay 20k for a used truck with 80k miles on it and those are the kind of deals in my area. It's truly a bummer.

It depends on what your alternatives are. My old truck was running well, so I could wait. But others have had dying vehicles and end of lease issue, so I can understand their impatience and need to find something else. Unfortunately, for those who ordered a hybrid, there isn’t anything quite like the Maverick.

Mine was delivered in 8+ months, so I wasn’t too traumatized. And I have to say it was worth it, because that’s how we roll here, apparently.

Unfortunately I'm one of those people with an old dying car, it's nearly 12 years old and has started developing quirks.

We have had a heat wave here in the south for nearly a month and my air conditioner fritzed out the other day, it's started working again but I'm hoping it either makes I through the summer or I get my truck.

Just to keep the story up to date....

I was, of course, notified on July 19th that there was a further delay until week of Aug 1. My dealer told me that I had a "build date" of Aug 2 and that the vehicle had been "bucked". Very Excited. Of course 8/2 passed with no info, then 8/3...so I called the dealer and of course it has been delayed twice since my previous call and is now on the week of the August 15th.

...This may be something exciting... Syrita on FORD Chat told me that my truck was in the "body shop." That sounds promising.
