Because I was caught in a hail storm and I needed their awning ! No damage done thankfully🫣😊

Gas is over 4 bucks here again. First fill up, unscheduled 😅 8 gallons with 600+ plus miles more to go this time, hopefully.

Be grateful for what you have in AZ. Gas is $6 at some stations in SoCA, and the added ethanol returns lower MPG than pure gas. We-the-sheeple elected those who think they can save the world using our money, so we get what we deserve. But I digress...

Here in Canada we pay SoCa prices all the time. Hence me buying my Maverick Hybrid! Lol

My first 287 miles. Roughly 40 mpg. Dealer has small amount of gas before I took possession. Truck has about 20 miles on it. Suggestions for best mode to drive in; normal, econo, etc?

Eco or slippery for best MPG. I rarely use anything else and average 39-40mpg over a year including cold winters and hot summers. The heat extremes cause MPG to drop.

Well look at the bright side fellow hybrid owners. As gas prices go up so does the value of our trucks.

I came from a 2007 F150 getting 15 mph on a good day so the fuel up is a lot less taxing shall we say 🤪

Must be nice! $4.39/gal at costco yesterday in AZ.
I pay $3.59 in NJ. Most stations are about $3.70. On Oct 1st the tax in NJ goes up a penny. Because the demand has been down and the fund is guaranteed so much per year. NJ has no way to tax evs. One reason demand may be down. They use the same road I do plus are heavier. I am sure if and when a solution comes up it will be screwed up.

Actually the cheapest I seen was 3.35. It seems to be coming down. Think that's short term tho.

Texas is working on road use tax. Starting soon is annual $200 fee added to ev license renewal. Legislature is considering ($0.0125/mile? adjusted for weight of vehicle) for all vehicles with adjustment for any actual fuel tax paid. Who knows what they will finally settle on?

Most fair would be per miles driven. But who wants more information going to the government. Some states penalize hybrids too. To me that is just wrong. They still use gas.
