Generally I do the same. I have kept it in play a few times but usually turn it off. This is on my F150 KR. My Maverick is a Hybrid so it does not have the AS/AS.I always disable auto stop-start whenever I get ready to head out.

I just got my autostop eliminator installed the other day. I think it's asinine that from the factory it doesn't remember your last setting by default for each drive cycle. $100 almost feels like scam territory to not have to press a button anymore, but at least the wiring harness was high quality, lol.I always disable auto stop-start whenever I get ready to head out. Whether or not it actually leads to premature starter failure, it is annoying in my opinion.
No the hybrid doesn't have the AS/AS it has the HVB needs charging or just needs more torque 24/7 S/S feature. It will start/stop if HVB is at 40%+ every time you go pedal on/go pedal off.Generally I do the same. I have kept it in play a few times but usually turn it off. This is on my F150 KR. I believe he owns a Chevy Terrain. It's the name of a suv. He listed XLT then a Terrain. When would you do that? And is it like a double click? Also what is a XLT Terrain?
My Maverick is a hybrid, but the first add on we got for the wife’s Subaru was a stop/start stopper.I just got my autostop eliminator installed the other day.
