Good for you!

This should be a black eyed for Ford.
1st to market doesn't mean sh*t if you can't get them out the door. Wasted everyone time and talent.

Congrats. I love the Santa Cruz. I really am thinking about getting a white limited. I’ve found a dealer that will do 1k under msrp, but I’m still holding out hope for the maverick since my build is 26k and I don’t really want to spend the extra 15k for a daily hack around. How do you like it? I keep going back and forth on if the Santa Cruz is worth the extra.

Though I did look at the truck. They are nice, but not worth the price difference and I can wait for the Maverick 's hybrid gas mileage. ;)

Ohhhhhh, that's a good one DanMav1701. You got me on that one...sort of.

I was wondering, "How'd he get one so quickly? Hyundai doesn't have them just sitting around on the lot, do they?"

😂

At the same price point the Santa Cruz is the winner, but the ford is clearly the value leader (As long as you don’t pay ADM.)

I just went to Hyundai's site, and they DO just have them sitting around on the lot!!! But I still don't want one.

When I look at the Maverick, I think "Truck". When I look at the Santa Cruz, I think "El Camino from the 70's." Am I the only one?

They did in that case, but it was like $42k, nope. And that was on the printer Window sticker that had across it "Not Official, Subject to Change" So likely would have been higher.

Yesterday I saw 3 Mavericks and see them everytime I go to town. Still have yet to see a Santa Cruz even going past their dealership there is nothing. They definitely werent first to this island market.

I was originally planning to order a Maverick but after reading about all the delays up to a year I decided on a Santa Cruz. I opted for the SEL trim that has features equal to an XLT or better so not much difference In price. Mine was $29,230 with no msrp markup or dealer bs add ons. Something to consider.
