No there’s no hybrid available this year just the turbo and non turbo engines. For the eGoboost people such as myself the Turbo version is awd and bumps the towing up to 5k

I was originally planning to order a Maverick but after reading about all the delays up to a year I decided on a Santa Cruz. I opted for the SEL trim that has features equal to an XLT or better so not much difference In price. Mine was $29,230 with no msrp markup or dealer bs add ons. Something to consider.

Love it, looks great! If the non turbo engine worked for me, I’d already have one.

To get the turbo you have to step up to the premium model starting at $35k so wasn’t worth an extra $5k for me. I have no problem with the non turbo engine. It goes just fine.

It is a nice looking truck. But the reason I went to the Equinox I'm driving was better gas mileage. I always had a truck before. So when Maverick showed up, was best of both worlds. Since I am not in a hurry to get a vehicle, I don't mind waiting for the Nav, even if it becomes a 23 MY.

I fully understand why you "caved". I ordered a Maverick Lariat Eco Boost on August 23. I had to finally get a new vehicle and bought a Bronco Sport Badlands (I really like it). I got an email from Ford that my Area 51 Lariat Eco boost has been built and should be at the dealer late April. Right now I probably won't take it.

I kind of sort of caved today too, but that was to buy my wife this EcoSport as we had no car at all. It is her first ever new car though it seems appropriate to have bought an Ecosport on April Fools day. I like it though. As a second car I think it’s great.

My wife has a 2016 Equinox that now has 145K miles in it without any issues. Not sure of her mileage but pretty sure it’s similar to mine. Who knows, I may trade in my Santa Cruz in a few years when there’s dozens of them sitting on the car lot.
