I Got My Maverick!!!

Finally, almost 17 months later, it's here. Ordered a Hybrid, XLT with Lux pkg on June 29, 2021. I've seen posted here many, many Hybrid XLT's ordered after me and they received theirs last summer. My dealer had to arm wrestle his RM to get mine a PC 2 back in July. A few days later I get a vin, July 20. Build week of 9/19/22. It sat in Mexico after being built that week until 10/14. Finally on a train heading to Dearborn, MI. [near Detroit]. It got there 11/2. It took almost 3 weeks to go the last 300 miles from Detroit to me by car hauler. I was at my deer camp until late Monday, stopped in this morning and my dealer had a smile so I knew it was in. Oh, and my son and I each got nice bucks this past Friday and Saturday.

Yes it took a long time. I'm a patient person, or at least I thought I was. Lol. I am getting the price protection from last summer, X-plan and a $750.00 private offer from Ford, so all is good. Buck photos to follow, need to get grandkid to do the photos again for me.

Congrats on getting your truck after such a long wait. And thanks for harvesting the deer. While not a hunter myself I have had my share of kills. With my car. Don't like to drive at dawn and dusk around here because of them. A woman in NJ was killed recently, the deer went through the front windshield and out the back.

where's the buck photos

Here are the photos of my son's buck and mine. His is the larger one. I got mine about 10 minutes before shooting hours where done for the day and just after a snowstorm that dropped about 8 inches of snow. Not sure what 'JSUS' meant, but THESE ARE THE TWO BUCKS MY SON AND I KILLED a few days ago.
