I'm scheduled for the week of 10/10!!!

Hopefully that means I will be "Getting it at Granger" before Thanksgiving (but given shipping times....probably not).

Still, I'm scheduled, very exciting!

At the time it was introduced, it was $3,000 off INVOICE - which translates into a really good deal! I do not know whether they are still offering that deal; doubtful. I think all of the dealers, along with Ford's markup, are making as much off this "winner" truck while the getting is good.
ok thanks,

But yeah, they're notoriously a choppy ride, lots of popping and creaking even after suspension upgrades, and pretty underpowered with just a 4-speed auto trans.
Theirs was the 5-speed auto since it was a later model. Probably good for 0.1 second quicker 0-60 and maybe 1 MPG better, LOL, but the one mechanical issue it had, the thing felt like it had one of the "bad" Honda transmissions from the early 2000s--felt like it was slipping and refusing to upshift on the 2-3 or 3-4 shift, if memory serves. They had it towed to the dealer and expected the worst. The problem turned out to be an oil pressure sensor, which was an easy (and comparatively cheap) fix.

Same 10/10 build week here. So is it realistic to think they will arrive at Granger before the end of Nov? Not sure how long it typically takes from built to delivered.

Happy to provide some insight, per the conversations I have had with Granger: Comfirmed Shipped 08.28.22 - Ford Cust Sr Rep and the Granger rep both indicated expected delivery between Sept 16 -> 22nd. Granger stated they need 1 week to prep for the Sale to me; the Finance Dept will contact me once the Mav is on site. Mine is a FE, Rap Red, AWD, EcoB, w 4k tow - all the features!

Excited to see some pictures, haven't seen any rapid red in the wild.

Ford chat told me my 9/19 build date was expected at Granger from 9/20-9/27...gotta love it lol. Maybe Ford chat thinks it's like the tube system at a bank...build Maverick, put in tube, send off to the dealer.

Assuming no chip holds, transportation delays, or rescheduling I think sometime mid to late November is a reasonable estimate.

The one I have seen several times in my neighborhood (which feels like it's taunting me) is a rapid red Lariat.
Rapid Red was ONLY available on the First Edition package - see the photo on my profile? Also it will have the Black decals and roof... did you see all of that? Otherwise it is the Pepper Red Ford Color

Didn't even think about there being a difference aside from the decals. Us XL folks are maybe a little simple-minded lol. Thanks!

I stand corrected! It's definitely Pepper Red, then--also a very nice color. I didn't realize they offered two shades of red in 2022.
