when did you sign up for Farm Bureau
01/24/2022 I think because i havent been a member for at least a year, is why ford is bumping the financing up. Cassandra told me $10K @ 1.9% for 36 months works out to about $730 or so in interest. Since the farm Bureau deal is a rebate from ford, I think this is fords way of getting their $500 back. Minimum financing thru ford is $10k I am right at about $3600 shy of just paying cash. When the first payment comes, I will write them a large check, and by january I will have the $3600, and pay it off. Then it's off to the races to save up money for a replacement car for the wifey.

I got pulled over in WV by some cop thinking my windows tinted too dark. He whipped out the tint meter and found out that mine was within the limit. The look on his face. No ticket today copper.
Isnt that stock factory tint on the rear windows?

Picked up the pick-up. Just over 1000 miles back home.
Sport mode was fun through West Virginia.

Anyone know how to contact their finance department and figure out what financing is available? I emailed the typical Grainger email I have been using to communicate with them, and they indicated that "financing would contact me once they have the truck to discuss financing options." That is great, but I really would like to know what is available for me before then so I can consider alternative options.

I think the 30 day wait is right. Someone else mentioned here when you generate the discount on the FB website that you backdate the sales date to the purchase date and it will work with the 0%. Thats what Im gonna try.

Ashleigh told me yesterday they will discuss that with me once the truck is at the dealership.

I'm sure I can find out, but it doesnt matter, I wont have the loan very long. I mean I still dont have the truck. It's sitting in limbo because of a recall.

Man I’m sorry to hear you still don’t have the truck. Hopefully it’s a Christmas present

I think they are apprehensive to discuss financing details because delivery delays/recalls etc have often prevented people from picking up their trucks within their estimated timeframe, and the window for whatever financing you're available for today may close by the time it gets on the lot.

Even when it's on the lot, you'll still have to wait 7-10 business days, so you can explore other financing options while they prep the truck.

They specifically said to not call them but they will call you when the Maverick arrives. I imagine they have a lot of business right now and do not wish to entertain "what if" questions. I recommend you just do your research. What I did was determine the MSRP and finance rate based on the date of ordering. That is a protected date and other posters said that Granger is honoring both. I use this web tool to calculate what I want to put down based on a target monthly payment. - https://www.calculator.net/auto-loan-calculator.html. It helped me determine what I need to do financially to meet that goal.

- Breakfast pizza from Casey's
- Eat at Zombie Burger in Des Moines
- Stop at the World's Largest Truck Stop on I80 in Walcott, IA
- The Bobbie Sandwich from Capriotti's in Davenport, IA
- If you like farm equipment, stop at The John Deere Pavilion in Moline, IL
- Starved Rock or Matthiessen State Park

Safe Travels!
Skip Zombie Burger. Get a great pork tenderloin sandwich. Many locations depending on route.
Fast food, try a Taco Johns. Potato Ole's and don't accept anything other than fresh from the fryer.

At HyVee - Pork Cutlets if they have them in the meat case, ask the butcher and you want them temderized. Anderson Erickson cottage cheese or dips.

If you have time visit John Deere in Waterloo Iowa or in Quad Cities. Factory tours are currently not available so check before you travel. (several facilities and you never know when they might start offering tours again) Museum in Waterloo and Quad Cities.

Farm and Fleet Stores - there is a Blaine's right off the interstate in Davenport.

Iowa State University , University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa - catch a basketball or football game if you have time. If you have children going to college in a year or two then bring them along to pick up your vehicle and plan a college visit.

Capital Building in Des Moines is interesting an free to tour. You probably have to be a history buff or Iowegian to enjoy this. So caution on this one. Would not go thru Des Moines if I did not have to.

Herbert Hoover presidential library and museum is right off the interstate in West Branch.

--- ----- ----- continuing East

Way beyond Iowa - for those travelling the dreaded I80 / I 94 passing by Chicago continuing East there is Albanese Candy Factory in Merrillville, Indiana ( just off of I65 where I80/I94 and I65 intersect) Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore in same vicinity
South on I65 - Fair Oaks Farms has interesting Ag Tourism and some great cheese and ice cream. I think it's exit 220
