I broke it!

Clipped the rubber tailgate bumper unloading my storage box, braking the plastic (rivet). Has this happened to anyone else? View attachment 197010

Nope, I have not done that but here is what you do to fix it.
Get some Permatex Black RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealer and some painter’s tape.
Glue that sucker back on and peel the tape off that you use to hold it in place, the following day. It might be a good idea to glue the other side down at the same time.

Sorry for your perils man. It always sucks when I screw something up on one of my own vehicles.

Push out broken rivet and find one comparable at hardware store and reinstall. Easy fix (Ford OEM $25.). Glue if necessary.

I fixed t!! Just remove tail light assembly, use a 1/4” machine screw and lock nut.
