On this forum, a member stated that the Alla bulbs did not cause hyper flash on the dashboard when installed in the taillights. So, I went and installed them and was bummed when they did cause hyper flash. What I have learned though, they only hyper flash when the headlights are on. So, early morning and at night, there's hyper flash, but during the day, no hyper flash. It's very strange. Is this something that can be solved by Forscan?

It’s something that can be solved with some $3 resistors and 20 minutes of your time

I don't know why other Lariats are having problems. I have no hyperflash, with or without headlights on. I made a video below. This is with Lasfit 4257 NA Amber Only No Switchback LED Canbus Error Free Bulbs up front and Alla Lighting Xenon White WT21/7W Brake/Tail/Signal LED Bulbs in the rear (top and bottom, each side - 4 total).

I installed the Lasfit, and drove around for a day. Then installed the Allas the next day. Is it the order I installed them and not at the same time the difference? Are others using the switchbacks up front or the red in the rear? Are they not using the two stage Alla lights in the rear? I have no idea.

But I have not had one error or hyperflash since I installed them. It's been weeks now.

Add resistors

I have the same setup you do. Installed the LasFit bulbs first. No issues. Then installed the Alla bulbs, but I went with the red bulb, not white. I'm just going to order the resistors and have fun figuring those out. The hyperflash isn't too bad, but can get a little annoying.

Nothing to figure out. Use blue wire taps and add the resistors between the wires

Yep this story seems to keep repeating itself. My buddy and I both have Lariats and we've both experience the hyperflashing. What is weird is he has it when he turns left or right with the headlights on. I only have it when I turn right, but not left with the headlights on. Today when I get home if it's not raining I am going to try to turn the bulbs on that one side to change the polarity and see if that does anything. Just crazy! I sure and heck don't want to add any resistors because they get so hot.

That's what's happening with me. I only get the hyperflash when turning right. I actually thought about switching the bulbs and seeing if that would work. The resistors getting hot is the only thing keeping me from going that route right now. The hyperflash isn't horrible...just annoying...

Mount the resistors to metal…you will have no issues. Also turning the bulbs around will likely cause them to not work at all. Most leds are polarity specific so they only work one way

Thanks for the info. I don't know if those Alla LED"s are polarity specific, but I am going to find out when I get home. :)

Anybody know of any aftermarket LED’s for the rears of our Mavericks that don’t hyper flash? I tried contacting LasFit but was only told “soon”.

Don’t get scared to install the resistors. Easy Peasy! You just have to peel a little of the paper tape away so you can tap the wires. Ground and hot for the blinker/brake light. I used a volt meeter to figure this out. connected the wires and test it. Hyberflashing inside the vehicle is gone. Just make sure you mounts it on sold metal surface to disparate heat.
