I'm new here, and I follow people living in there vans an trucks.alot of people live in there preius hybred. They stay warm all night. I wanted to know if the maverick would let me do the same.

Should be just the same as a Prius. Leave it in parked in ready mode with the HVAC set where you want and the ICE will cycle as needed.

But you will have periodic noise and vibration every time the engine starts.

Roughly every few minutes the engine will start and stop. You'll need some pretty effective ear plugs.

Best option would be: Keep heater vents OFF. Keep entire climate control system off. And use an electric blanket. They come as 12 volt and 120 volt versions.

The truck will cycle but far less often.

Interesting thread. I like the electric blanket idea. Has anyone ever used a carbon monoxide detector in a car? The battery powered ones are pretty cheap and function well.
