Hybrid transmission problem

Please report back on what parts the dealer replaced, because that is what we really want to know so we can look out for symptoms ourselves Maybe, the sluggish acceleration could have been due to the hybrid battery(traction battery) being depleted and the acceleration being purely from the engine with no electric assist? I know I get that occasionally, and it is definitely due to no electric assist in my case. I have 70K on my '23 with the original battery, fwiw.

Yeah, which parts. How is this the transmission?

Happy to report. 70K on the original 12 volt? Wow.

Love our little truck. Other than time and money spent to and from dealer for recalls, great little tool. My Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 has about 3,000 miles since we bought the Mav. Anything I need that won’t fit in the bed, I have a 14 foot utility trailer.

I have an 8' trailer and a bed hitch mounted bed extender. I still wish it was a SuperCab.

If possible I would sure like to know what was done to e-cvt transmission. Ask dealer for detailed explanation. Ask if trans was removed to do repair?

The dealer told me they need the truck for a week. I don’t think this a “lean over the fender and turn a screw” repair. I will update as information becomes available.

Sorry for my ignorance. The dealer said they ordered transmission parts. Therefore, I can only assume the parts are for the transmission in my Maverick.

I have something similar. when cold, shift into D or R, and it doesnt move. Press gas and at like 1/4 it finally moves, lunging.

I'm not overly concerned but I hope its not an precursor to some future issue.

This sounds exactly like pressing the go pedal in D or R with the electric parking brake on.

Then by you pressing the "go" pedal, after slight hesitation the truck figures out, "Oh, you want to go somewhere" and automatically releases the electric parking brake. The truck lunges because the brake releases while you are already at partial throttle.

The parking brake can go on automatically without your intervention if you park on a slope. Maybe other conditions turn it on also.

Sorry, I don’t think I said ABS code had anything to do with transmission. I believe in stated what the fault code was (ABS) and the dealer ordered transmission parts. Why the dealer stated the transmission needs repair I have no idea. As matter of fact, I’m done here. Thanks

You did not.

The error said that about the ABS.
The dealer said it was the transmission.
I was merely pointing out that didn't make sense.

Please share updates as you get them.
Please don't misunderstand the posts aren't questioning your comments but the dealers.
