Count another one probably at 15k miles, went to work today then on the way home severe shake on acceleration on newly paved road.... First thing I do is search the forums and.....
Hi there. This shaking concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Maverick. Should you need further assistance, please send us a DM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer and I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end. Most likely. As it's not if but when will it fail as eventually with the current design they will fail. I don't no how this has not been a recall yet.

They put their vibration tester on and said it wasn’t from the axles?
Vibration tester? Did they grab the axels and see if there is any slop in them, rotationally and/or longitudally ?

My 2022 Hybrid Lariat 42,000 miles, has started vibrating under acceleration and is getting worse to a pretty good shake now, dealership has replaced motor mounts, transmission mounts and is still doing it. They also put on a different set of wheels and tires to rule them out and still the same issue. Neither the engine or transmission are throwing any codes? Any thoughts.
They advise not to continue driving the truck until they find the issue but at the same time I am going on 4 weeks in the shop without a rental vehicle because they say they can’t put me into a rental without having diagnose what the issue is!
that most definitely are the CV axels, had both of mine on my 2022 hybrid replaced at about the same miles.

Hi there! I can look into your Maverick's concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Maverick's VIN?

Recently got mine back from the dealer. I told them it was the CV axle when I dropped it off. They let the truck sit for a week and then ordered the part. Part came 3 days later.
*It is the new upgraded CV axle.
On the bright side while it was sitting deep sleep kicked in and I got a new battery out of it because I pressed them about it.

I just keep getting the runaround, the parts are on backorder and no one can tell me if they are just going to reinstall the same bad axles or if they have been re-engineered and of course I can’t buy aftermarket ones and have them put in that will void my warranty. I just want to drive to work with confidence and this truck is letting me down along with Ford.

If what has been said is true, all of the new CV axles available and in distribution are the new design. Ford has pulled the defective design.
