Haven’t driven mine enough at night to comment on the auto high beams.

However, after 9K I have had no major issues and only a couple quirks that were easily handled.

Very happy with the overall performance of this truck.

You can also cycle between high beams on, off, and auto for the current drive.

When auto high beam is on, you'll see this icon by your headlight indicator, and the high beam indicator when they're actually on:

To turn it on/off persistently:

And for reference, be aware of some system limitations and precautions:

I was able to turn the automated feature off no problem, and honestly haven't had any reason to turn it back on. I rarely use my brights anyhow, so I just do it the old fashioned way.

Thanks for the write up though. Good info to have.

I dunno, I really like the autohigh beams.

I do a lot of late night driving in the country during the summer (my wife and I like to go to a drive in that's about an hour away from where we live -- so the drive home is on country roads after midnight) and the biggest annoyance for me was always toggling the brights on and off (and forgetting to turn them back on occasionally) whenever oncoming traffic came up.

To be fair though, you usually don't see many motorcycles on those roads at night so I haven't experienced what you did.

So I didn't want to start a new thread. Tonight I witnessed auto high beams for the first time. I actually thought the auto was just to turn on the head lights and not the high beams. But the auto function kind of flashed someone on my way home. So I just figured out how to disable them in the settings. So all good now. I also turned off keeping head lights on after turning off the truck so nice bonus there.
