@Darnon is right.

24S33 is the update to the update for your truck because yours already had some updates completed. Mine did not.

I have only had one(edit: two) update(s) from a TSB since my truck was new and it was almost a year ago. TSB 23-2248 and 23E07.

Regardless - I don’t care to debate about this because all of the recalls that I have listed are directly from Ford for my truck.

Edit to add: the dealer that I work with, despite all its faults, has a competent group of techs that figured out why this update was causing trucks to get stranded well before the official “fix” (see: 24S33) was released from Ford.
So we agree, 24S33 updated 23E09 on MY truck. Thanks for the info.
Just trying to learn like we all are. :)

After lurking/reading the threads here, I reluctantly got the airbag recall done. I was quoted 4 days, but it was ready in 24 hours.

Upfront I mentioned to the service guy that I was worried about the horror stories I read online and sure enough when I got the truck back the headliner and car interior was covered in stains. Thankfully (?) the service guy had zero hesitation and got their detailing department to clean it (twice) and it's back to what it was before.

All-in-all, I suppose it was fine. Hopefully I get a free Yeti in the mail out of it.

I learned a good lesson today.
I got the recall letter, I scheduled an Online appointment with a Delarship I have trusted for years! Always done right by me. NOT TODAY
The Schmuck I was assigned to first gave me crap because I made the appointment Online, Then calls me over and says I want you to look at this screen. It says you don't need this recall.. I looked at him and said #1 I have had this issue with the car going into Neutral since I purchased it and this letter says they have a fix for it. He just agued and said, well you scheduled for quick lane oil etc. they aren't busy, just go over there. My staff will be taking lunch soon anyway.

At Quick Lane I talked with the polite young girl there about Mr Attitude and she told me that they are often like that over there if you bring a truck to the main service area. She suggested I go to the Truck Service area, and talk to them. So I did as much, the young guy Pat, looked over my information and said YES there is a software patch for that and we can do it later this week if you want. I proceeded to tell him the other service writer told me they had not fix for the recall.

He simply said, Yes there is, if you lived within 10 miles of the dealership we could send a mobile tech out to fix you issue.
I said thanks, but no I will take an appointment to be here because I do not live within 10 miles.

I fully intend once my software has been updated to go see the other advisor's BOSS and let him know the crap this guy gave me!

If he didn't want my truck in his car bays he should have said, you need to schedule with the truck shop! Instead of being a total Jerk and treating me like I was wrong for making an internet appointment at their shop, and Lying that there was no fix for my recall.

Anyone else run into dealerships pushing you aside because you own a truck (SUV) with a different body on the SUV frame? Yes technically Its a truck, but we all know what the base vehicle started from...

My main dealer, and the next closest - only have 1 drive in area, 2 lanes.
No car, truck, or quick lube differences - all into one.
They drive vehicle off to wherever it needs to go. Which for me is always a parking space out back, due to the work being done.

Mobile service for my set of recall updates was just fine at work.

Mobile service tried for my 2025 hybrid but failed in the process. Recommended to drop off at the dealer.
