My 2022 FWD hybrid pulled 4,000 lbs. up a 19% grade IN EV mode.

The hybrids have more than enough torque and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Measured 11 degree slope which pencils to a 19% grade.

EV mode.
3 to 5 MPH.
FWD (could use AWD I had a little wheel chirp but no biggie).
Short distance so small battery pack was not at issue.

800 lbs in bed.
3200 lbs trailer.
One 200 lb. person.
75 lbs of luggage in back seat.
Dry. 85 degrees ambient.

Ford Maverick Hybrid pulls 4,000 lbs. up 19% grade 1782849720735-tt

Of course it can pull 4k as the 4k tow package is not an engine upgrade, but do it on the regular you will destroy you eCVT. The 4k package includes a transmission cooler and upgraded cooling fan to offset the extra 2k strain/heat on the system. It also includes a trailer brake controller so that it doesn’t just rely on the Maverick’s brakes. No controller also equals longer braking distances which puts others drivers at risk. Enjoy your truck while it lasts 😆

You don't read many posts.
My 2022 was upgraded after purchase.
Every Hybrid on the road has a transmission cooler. Mine runs 155°F while towing uphill on a 99°F day.
I have a brake controller.
Mine will last just fine.
The only difference is:
AWD
Slightly different gear ratio.

I seriously doubt that if you tow 4k consistently. Your failure point is most likely going to be the twist beam rear suspension. That and that alone is the reason all FWD Mavericks made in 2022 and up don't also have a 4k towing option. Depending the rating of the hitch receiver that will be your next and most likely point of failure.

Your delusional, there are more things that is different. For one the 25 + ECVT is beefed up and different than the 22. The biggest is engineering and dynamics when towing extra weight is put at the farthest point in the rear. Transferring weight distribution to the rear. Now that is magnified even more going up hill. The reason is the trucks weight and the trailer weight is distributing the weight even moreso to the back wheels. Which you admit front tires chirping, loss of traction. This can also disqualify your powertrain warranty. The greatest threat, it is not safe for the truck, it's occupants and others on the road. You are creating or increasing risk to other vehicles on the road. Because of this you could be held accountable, and I'm not just talking about a ticket.

Look in the mirror pal.

The 2025+ are 10% better putting the AWD aside which is the only thing "missing" from mine.

I'll keep pulling 20% less trailer and be just fine.

You do you. But quit preaching without a license. I already told you my truck is not stock.

First off I'm replying to a social media post not preaching. Second after a fatality they close the roads and actually have experts investigate the site . The findings are used in court.

Not preaching but it's definitely not safe or recommended. If you don't want comments don't post. Unless you are trolling? Especially with a from USA in your profile.

Maybe you should have been more thorough on this one, and what were you expecting with this post, congratulation?
Even with your modifications your truck is not the equal of an AWD with the 4k tow package.
