Had a funny one the other night; not something I've seen/heard on here as of yet. Listening to podcast via Spotify. Playing with switching the main screen Off (button on far right under screen). Off went the screen, podcast keeps playing. Dozed off waiting for dad-taxi pickup. Roused myself and hit the button couple times to get the screen back on. Audio stops when screen comes back on. Audio will now not play ANYTHING. Switch to music, nope. Switch source away from plugged-in Android Auto. Nope. Make bluethooth call, no problem. Audio 5x5. Switch back to Spotify (bluetooth only), Nope. Crank volume up until laser-beam pew-pew sounds, np. Still no playback. Switch to local AM/FM, no audio. Decide to pull key (all off), exit truck for 5 seconds. Back inside, key on. No audio whatsoever. Yipes. Did full check. Speakers working 100%, just head unit will NOT play any type of audio whatsoever. 15 minute drive home and worried a little. Parked, went to sleep. Next morning all back to normal.
Really odd and if anyone can reproduce, please chime in. No idea what triggered it or why, but both my kids were in the truck and we tried everything we could think of (including pairing different phone, pluggin in different phone). The Head unit literally just decided it was done playing audio from any source for the night!
