Ford has hybrids that have been built and are awaiting the EPA certification so that they can be sold. It wouldn't make much sense to keep stacking them up.

A delayed build just means it won't be sitting outside in the elements until it can be shipped.

I'm going to be shocked if the EPA ball doesn't drop on the 5th with everything else. I think something else is going on with the eCVT that's slowing things.

That being said, I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again. It's all speculation. I can't control what I can't control.

I suspect there must be something wrong in the supply chain for the hybrid. Ford seems perfectly content letting unfinished F150s stack up in the desert like cordwood, not sure why they wouldn't do the same with Mavericks that are complete and could be shipped off as soon as someone in the EPA signs the form.

Supply chain issues should come at no surprise in this current environment. I'm not expecting my hybrid for a year, basically.

Just got an email last night from Ford production date was changed from Nov 8th. To Nov 29th. So about a 20 day delay.

When did you order yours?
