This guy has not done anything but get a knee-jerk response. Please don't put too much stock in it.
There is truth here. Since there is an audience on the internet for Maverick content, tons of sites are putting up click-bait stuff to get views in the vacuum while we wait for the test drive reviews to land. It's amping up as well due to Hyundai getting the Santa Cruz out to dealers before the Maverick.

It is based on self reporting is why, my numbers are not on there at all for example
Yeah, it's self-reporting. But it still seems a bit odd.

For Hybrids, there are about 1.6 times as many VINs as build dates.

For EcoBoost, there are about 0.3 times as many VINs as build dates.

It's a small sample, but that's a big difference for no apparent reason.

My guess is that the EcoBoost folks are being secretive and plotting something.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Has anybody heard of more eCVT transmissions built than the 139 built in July?
I believe the source of that information has stopped broadcasting.

This shows the problem with the internet. If someone just came on this page and typed in a comment, it would be no big deal. But because it is a video on YouTube it generates this many comments? It is just a comment based on what a salesperson said. Most of us know around 35% of scheduled orders are hybrids, this yahoo making a video changes nothing. I know real news is hard to find, please consider the source.

Must be one of the 139. 🤣
Ah, the number of those two build groups too closely matches the demonstrators numbers. Ford asked that the numbers of hybrid trannys no longer be relesed, and that’s understandable

One thing to add... FoMoCo has become their own motor supplier with the Maverick version. It is using 'flat wire' for the windings in the rotor. They may be having trouble getting good rotors. The square wires allow the copper to snug up to the other coppers allowing more conductor per unit volume. Trouble may be in getting good insulation when you cram all that stuff in there so tightly. I think I heard Munro on the tube say they were having less percent 'good' units which would impact production.
It will all work its way out. The site members/visitors/reported orders/etc is a self-selected group that have a variety of interests and may NOT reflect the order mix of un-motivated buyers who have yet to be heard from. No one has gotten a unit yet(retail) and I have seen/heard ZERO radio/tv/web/billboard NOTHING touting this new model.
So the 'mix' of drivetrains is maybe yet to be determined. This group tended hybrid. The hybrids will get mixed into the 30-40% of builds that will be hybrid for retail/dealer stock/etc.

I talked to the internet sales manger yesterday and she told me that the Maverick is fully on track and they regularly pull orders to build. Out of 50 or 60 she has on order, 18 have been already pulled. She said they have all what they need to build the Maverick and there is not need to modify anything to accelerate the process. I don't think ford can afford to have another Bronco style disaster and they will pull what ever they need to make this launch a big success. I have also a Bronco on order but gave up the hopes to see the Bronco before the end of next year.
I would really care what the "Internet Manager said" I take what I read on this forum with more creditablity.

Santa is going to need a semi this year
Santa… maybe for 2.0s and XLTs. Man, I ordered a first edition hybrid. I’m afraid the Easter bunny be delivering those. I didn’t see any that have been pulled.

@Dealerinsider mentioned in another thread there was a 'regionally controlled commodity' for the 2.5L:
See: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/current-maverick-regional-commodities.1348/

@GrangerFord noted here that the Hybrid will only be 35% of production, but will ramp to 40%:
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...on-limit-dealer-allocations-constraints.1045/

These two are some great sources of info, so first I tip my hat in thanks to them.

I didn't dig too far beyond finding those post again, but it was also noted Hybrids will be going to retail first, then dealer stock. So we have that going for us, which is nice. It doesn't provide insight as to why the 2.5L is slow/RCC'd, but I believe @grumpyunk may be spot-on with his reference to Munro and good unit issues causing at least part of the problem.

With mine being a First Edition in Rapid Red with the Hybrid drivetrain, I really don't expect to see it before October at the earliest right now.
