Hybrid Brakes Great @ 65k

Rotated tires today.
65,500 miles.
Brakes look excellent. Like new.
And I tow and haul a lot too!

Who knows the new pad thickness? Ford says replace at 2mm and under.

Your picture of front pad reminds me - get premium pad not for the wear aspect, but for the aging without much use and not de-laminating apart aspect.

I have the same problem, and I've had this same problem with my 2017 Accord hybrid. The brakes simply rust, calipers sieze and you end up spending a tonne of money on brake maintenance, negating any fuel savings by far. On my accord I started doing caliper lubing one a year when I rotated the snows to summers which helped. But the rotors still rust like hell.

My maverick is already making rotor rubbing noise at low speed when I'm driving in residential areas... Not sure really how to resolve this one. I've considered going down big hills with the truck in neutral and riding the brakes to see if that cleans them, but I don't know how the truck biases front and rear and if both will be effective....

That all said, I love driving my Hybrid Maverick (and Accord), I don't miss automatic transmissions in any way (or my CVT in my CRV that the maverick repalced).

Those look good but any issues with the rear? I have heard that the lane assist uses the rear brakes to help steer the vehicle back into the lane so they may wear down quicker? Might want to just make sure they are in as good a shape as the front ones.
