Thanks Bill! My concern, mostly out of battery ignorance, relates to battery type in the ultimate fix configuration.

Since my NOCO charger/maintainer has separate settings for 12V & 12V AGM, makes me wonder about the internal Maverick setting. Those with forescan I believe have said the Mavericks software is set to AGM, despite every Maverick being delivered with flood type batteries.

What if the fix coming not only raises the charging cap, but changes the type? Will it matter?

Seems to matter to NOCO chargers.
I too have Noco g5 & g10 chargers which have 12v & 12v AGM. I recently had OEM size BXT*99RT4*A CCA 390 (Opcode 10654C) warranty replaced, bad cell, With size BXT*99RT4*A MAX CCA 470 (Opcode 10654C1). Questioned service advisor and was told the MAX CCA 470 had just recently become available in quantity or at least so for the maverick she did not say which. Nothing on the MAX 470 Says anything about AGM so I assume NOT. The specs mention negative paste, grids, increase case strength for higher pressure etc to keep gasses inside battery, etc. I find no how to charge parameters anywhere on Ford site for this battery. Just would like to set noco correctly. This battery appears to be at least a lot similar to AGM.
ETA: Service Rep said it was the AGM version. But Ford AGM labeled batteries do not show available in this size. I assume it's just "enhanced" FLA. I do find T5 AGM available but they are about 1" longer (T5 is a short H5) so may fit in hybrid Maverick easier.

More manual reading:

Seems the double fob press does get a beep simply confirming lock status.

Just confusing why we can disable the beep when a door, hood or tailgate is ajar. I guess in an obscure way that makes some sense.
Yes, my tone was always a short honk.

And that menu setting I showed disabled it.

If there is a setting that must be made as to the type of battery to allow proper charging - then replacing the battery would probably be removed as an owner maintenance item.

Why - because it's sitting in the cabin. And you can't trust people swapping it to change a setting correctly.
And an overcharged battery if the wrong option was taken could release fumes if the vent tube wasn't attached.

I don't think the AGM option is used, just like the values for CCA, and battery size, and other items that are available but not set correctly, and has options that would never fit in the space.

Plenty of feedback about AGM eventually getting to same battery saver mode, maybe not deep sleep though.

80% for FLA is the correct level to stop full charging and go to topping charge.

Scan tool shows it's still given Volts & Amps above 80%, just much lower, like topping charge.

AGM is even more important to nail that level when you back off.

I had my truck in for battery saver problem in December 14th and they replaced the battery with another original type battery, here it is January 29th and the problem is back. I guess I will go start it manually because it's 18 degrees out there. Not a vehicle I'd buy if I had researched it .

Did you have them perform the SSM related to battery drain? They won't do it unless you bring it up since it technically isn't a recall.
