Planet Ford took and order from me
With no deposit today. I had previously told them I wasn’t interested due to a $1k deposit.
Interesting... Did they say whether or not the DNA etching addon was still required?
[/QUOTE]

Honestly I didn’t ask. Forgot to check on those since I had written them off previously. To me more clear this is planet Ford Spring/Woodlands

Yeah, I was talking with Planet Ford yesterday, and they told me the same thing about the DNA etching being required at a cost of $599. Total addon package would be $1609, if I chose to keep everything. Also told me $500 deposit.

Just spoke with a salesman at Mcree who told me that order banks for the MY23 Maverick will be opened in about a month or two.
I placed my order for the Maverick at McRee on Friday morning. They were awesome. No down payment, no addons, no nonsense. They didn't realize the order banks had been opened, but checked when I asked. The salesman then contacted the 5-6 other customers who had been waiting and they began placing their orders.

I highly recommend David Waters at McRee Ford. dwaters @ mcreeford.com, 281-337-8379. Tell him Brad sent you! I told him I'd be posting here because he made the process so simple. After leaving my order with him, I received the official confirmation email from Ford a few hours later.

EDIT: I also forgot to mention that McRee has free loaners as a perk.

Had a good experience ordering with HELFMAN.
$500 refundable deposit required but no nonsense.

That's great to hear. I was going to go to Helfman, but I just happened to have some free time on the south side of town on Friday so it worked out well.

Planet Ford tried to tack on over $2100 of dealer addons and fees to an XLT EcoBoost that was a custom cancel. They even tried to tell me that their ”DNA Anti-Theft” wasn’t a removable addon, even though it is window etching that isn’t even etched on yet. This is especially ridiculous considering they made $500-1000 off of the cancelled custom order already.

Autonation Katy tried something similar. I told them both to take a hike. I’ll be ordering my 2023 Hybrid XLT at Helfman tomorrow.
How much did Autonation Katy try to mark up?

I bought my XLT Maverick from AutoNation (Gulf Freeway)
Only mark up was tint, wheel locks and tailgate lock
But this was in January before the ecoboost orders closed

I just noticed this thread today.
I remembered on Saturday to check back with David Waters who I had called on Sept 9.
I placed my order for Maverick XLT Ecoboost at McRee on Saturday about noon and got the Ford email a few minutes later.

You should stop in next time we have a meet up. I would like to see a lifted Maverick in person, pictures only give you so much. Also, what lift did you go with? I'm torn between the HRG and the Super Lift. Opposite ends of the spectrum, I know, but the HRG seems super well made with all of the alignment extras you could need. But the Super Lift is 2.5" the most I've seen so far.

I wouldn't mind meeting up sometime. I went with the 2.5 superlift installed at 4 wheel parts. I am not disappointed. It has not change the ride feel from factory and I seem to be getting slightly better gas mileage. Went from 22.3 mile per gallon avg. To 23.7 miles per gallon avg

I’d be down for this meet up as well since my wife is ordering a Bronco Sport and wants a lift

From what I researched on lifts for bronco sports there is only a 1.5 max lift out and it cost way more then what my 2.5 was for the maverick. Was thinking of getting one for my wife to.
