How you track your Maverick via FordPass app once it has been built

I have it set to start everyday at one.

Shows it's at the factory in Mexico. Also 14 miles on it

The day it activated they put two miles on it..

Now it's in a deep sleep. Battery is probably dead.

Also if it starts it won't unless it's in park

So it has traveled since you activated it because it has put on 12 miles.

On those daily check-ins can you see the exact actual location such as GPS Latitude/Longitude.

It would be interesting to have those location points placed on a map to see where your Maverick went day-by-day.

Yeah, my FordPass App just says "Activation Pending" now after I initiated the activation, so I'm hoping whoever is in it next will hook me up and choose "accept"....hahaha. The fact that it is attempting the activation step is a good sign of the light at the end of the tunnel though. Previous times I've tried to it said something was not quite right and never let me initiate it.

With newer builds shipping with a $50 credit for the missing modem I don't have a lot of confidence I'll be able to track my truck before it gets to the dealership.

Since this thread has not had recent activity the irony is as clear as the certainty of being able to track my truck's location is unclear. The rail car is already back in Nogales, AR so my truck and three others destined for Salina, KS are in a sea of vehicles in a KC rail yard.

The Ford pass app takes me to the ATT site to activate, but it doesn't recognize the VIN. When I try to activate the truck in the Ford Pass app it wants me to wait til I take delivery.

Has anybody been able to locate their truck's location between the rail car ramp and the dealership?

As has been discussed, the removal of the 4G hotspot modem has nothing to do with FordPass. All of those functions stay the same. My truck is still “in production” but it already loads up in FordPass. It won’t let me activate it yet since I don’t have it, but it’s there.

Well that's a bummer. I'll have to smack my son for getting my hopes up. He showed me how it worked on his new Ranger, but didn't mention he had to approve it on the screen. I guess he forgot that part.

Send your son to Mexico and have him enter the prompts.
