This is only going to be the wiring portion, so after you get whatever lights you wanna run (I suggest XK Glow)

Here is what you need to tap into. On the driver side you’ll connect the white DRL+ into the white wire and the red 12V+ into the brown/blue on the main headlight plug.

Next you’ll be tapping into the turn signal wires, there is only 2 wires so it’s simple. Take the black 12V- and tap into the black wire off the harness, final will be the yellow wire Turn+ and that will tap into the yellow/green wire

I do not suggest using “T-Taps” or vampire taps but you do you. What I did was bough cheap 4 wire harnesses off eBay and just soldered into the factory harness. I wrapped it with wire harness electrical tape and it looked very factory.

Next up passenger side, wiring colors are different but same pin orientation.
You’ll connect the white DRL+ into the Grey/blue wire and the red 12V+ into the green/blue on the main headlight plug.

Next you’ll be tapping into the turn signal wires again, Take the black 12V- and tap into the black/green wire off the harness, finally will be the yellow wire Turn+ and that will tap into the blue/white wire

I did the same sub harness on the passenger side as well.

Dumb question, I installed the LED grill lights and they are only three wires. Should I tie into the DRL white wire for the power or stick to the layout above? I also have a lariat.

I just installed my DRL's and I went with the diagram and they work flawlessly. If you connect the driverside to the white wire they will never turn off because that has continuous power going through that wire. Same thing with the passenger side don't use the grey/blue wire.

So I THINK you have those wires backwards as I found that the "white" wire is constant +12 (on all the time) and the brown/blue wire seems to be the headlight power rather than DRL and +12 as you state.

Only issue is having is the DRL portion of the light isnt at its full voltage causing the aftermarket switch backs to be dim

however once the headlights are actually on they are fully bright and the switch back function works. It’s doesn’t work if the headlights are not on.

Wouldn't tapping into the driver's side brown/blue cause the DRL portion to stay on for an extended period of time after locking the car? That wire gets power for 15 min post lock.

Wow! But it might be challenging for beginners. Do you recommend a simpler plug-and-play solution (e.g., pre-made harnesses or adapters)?
OR, don't mess with the lighting system Ford spent (millions of?) dollars designing and building...
