How to remove gas / fuel door ?

Anyone know how to take off the gas door? I’m wanting to vinyl wrap it with matte black, and my hubby said it would be easier to do with the door off of it, but I cannot figure out how to get it off. Anyone have any luck? Or should I just give up and wrap it while attached?

I would like to know how to do this as well. MegaOhm makes a billet aluminum door pin for the Powerboost (I have one). This pin looks a lot like the Maverick's pin. If so, I want to replace the plastic pin.
