How strong is the demand for the Maverick really?

I don't know if Tim has what you want in stock, but I know he has 24's on the lot that they have marked down and motivated to move, and some 2025's. They are in Salina KS, and if you will finance with them they will throw in shipping up to $1000 or something along those lines. I would check with them to see what they have. That is Long McArthur Ford. I have no affiliation with them other than I stay tuned to their dealer updates on orders, constraints, availability etc on Youtube.
Yep, I just looked at their website inventory of MY24 XLT's. They have 19 with selling price as low as $26,548 and a high of $30,045 and appear to have the 4K Tow Pkg that OP mentioned.

I can find many of Mavs to buy but not any real deals. That's what I don't understand.
That means supply is short and/or dealerships think they can make more money off them.

For reference I paid MSRP with '22 price compensation for my '23 hybrid lariat. Under$30k, but had to wait 18months and hope the dealer didn't screw us.

The same trucks now go for about $500 less on CarMax.... Really WACK market out there!

Thanks for the reply. Searching a pretty big area, even nationwide.

Inability to find a "real deal" is an indicator of solid demand.

We live in a smaller area; the closest city is 10K people. Judging by all the Mavericks we seeing on the road lately I would say the demand is strong at least in our area.

Wow, must be a larger dealer. Around my area there are a few that trickle in and out on the dealer lots. I don't see a lot of them sitting. Demand must still be good even if slowed due to price increases.

All I know is that i got a great deal on my 2024 Lariat back in Nov. $5000 cheaper than my 2 local dealers with out the door price. fortunately for me they are only a 45 minute drive from my house

Do you guys just PM @fordvideoguy to work with him? He seems to have a great reputation on here.

Thank you.
I wish that same level of assistance and support was available to Canadian buyers. I would love to be able to either trade my Mav for a much better interest rate on a new model or at least re-finance mine.

We have a decent selection. A bunch of 2024 Maverick EcoBoost XLT AWD with 4k Tow and Optional wheel with Wildpeak tires, MSRP $31,775 for $26,600. And some 2025 Mavericks at $1k below employee pricing but none of them have 4k tow. https://www.long-mcarthur.com/searchnew.aspx?ModelAndTrim=Maverick
Those are good prices on those MY24 XLTs! Nice that you bumped up the tires to 235s! Good color selection too (fan of the HPR and AG, worth every penny for the color upgrade)

Up here in the PNW Mavs are pretty scarce with even the big dealers have only 20-30 units And most of those marked as IN TRANSIT. Different story back in April when I got mine. I was looking for a 24 XLT Hybrid. Most dealers had several. Seems a lot of people bought in April in expectation of Tariffs impacting prices and availability.
I went for a 24 since I wanted knobs for radio and AC. Hate everything on the screen. And this may be blasphemy, but I really can't go for the front end redesign on the 25's. Just dont like the looks. No 24's around here at least.

First post.

Been trying to pick up a Mav for about 3 months. Ideally just looking for an XLT with the 4k tow package. Relatively flexible on the color.

First, spent time chasing down used options. Found a handful of options but the prices basically right around 30k (before taxes and fees) for an XLT w/4k tow and not much else (2023). Then, seemed like that was a little bit silly because you can get a new XLT for about $33k with a full warranty. Would love to get a new '24 but none near by me and shipping kind of kills the deal.

Anyways, some people seem to be saying they are ordering and waiting. Meanwhile, following the market for a while, it doesn't look like anything is selling - used or new. Especially on the used - many of the same trucks that were listed 3 months ago are still sitting around. Some of had some modest price drops but lots of other sitting at the same price.

So what really is happening with the market?
For the first time in quite awhile my local Ford dealers all have several Mavericks on the lot. I don't believe it's so much driven by demand as that more and more people simply cannot afford a new vehicle these days. Who in their 20s that doesn't live with Mommy and Daddy can afford min $40,000 Cdn or even the payments over several years? My lot near my work is overflowing with F-150s for most likely the same reason. Tons of Broncos too. They barely have room to park them all and it's a BIG lot.

It seems to me that every dealership has at least a few in stock, sometimes dozens if it's a big, sprawling dealership.

I don't know if that's a result of demand, or supply.

I believe everyone that "had to have one" got one in the first couple years, and demand slipped (just like Cybertruck and Bronco). But, this is currently the only mid-sized pickup available except for the Hyundai (I'm not going to call it small or compact because compared to what was available before 2010 it is NOT). Once Toyota, Nissan, GM, etc. catch up and start offering similar sized pickups the demand with be diluted.

The only reason I have one is because of the employee pricing promotion, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
