How many of you are moving on after getting cancelled?

I had to buy a Santa Cruz because I literally couldn't wait for my maverick, it's costed me well over a grand keeping my old car going for more than a year since I ordered.

Getting a VIN in August was a HUGE relief, I really thought I was going to get it. Ford made sure to keep me thinking I was getting it, what with all the build date changes. The late November date email was my 9th push, and technically after talking with Ford chat, my December date was push #10.

Ford's incompetence screwed me over badly, and I know I'm nowhere near as bad as some others here. You're a trash company Ford. /End rant. I had to vent lol.

23 phantom black SEL AWD. base engine, and all kinds of bells and whistles that I don't really need, but it's not like they can take them off . Heated seats, lane departure, and it can keep itself in the lane without input from the driver, which absolutely blows my mind lol. Just passed 200 miles with it, averaging 24mpg with the majority of it stop and go. Got 30mpg on a 25 mile short trip today. I'll be checking the computers accuracy at my first fill-up. I really like it, it's much nicer than my coworkers XLT, but at 31k it better be.

Yeah, I am moving on. Probably wont be buying till jan-feb though. I will wait till the fed craters the economy a bit more. No rush, but Ford needs to sort their stuff out.

Gave up this summer and bought a Ridgeline. Frankly, it has been pretty great so far, and I am very happy I went in this direction.

How do you like it? The only ones available immediately near me when I bought the Santa Cruz were loaded up and more than I wanted to spend. They look nice as hell.

I was lucky, and found an RTL that was coming in around the time I wanted it. I would not spend money on the trims above that. It drives like a dream and is a little larger than the Mav, which I like. The only downsides are the mileage--about 24 on average, and of course the price

You don't order the Hyndais so to speak. They just kinda churn them out and send to dealers. You can let a dealer know what you want, but ultimately it's a matter of luck if they get it close. Better off looking around for what meets you needs in area vs locking in to a dealer.

Yup. It's kinda funny with mine, I called the dealer asking about it, since it was listed in transit. The sales manager said it should be here later this week... Nevermind, the truck is pulling into the lot now. It still had the plastic on it and had 4 miles on it when I looked at it. Apparently it was the first one coming in for dealer inventory that wasn't spoken for.
