How long does the dealer turn around the truck and get it ready for delivery once they get it? My tracking says it's in Final Preparation.

It depends on the dealer and what kind of volume they do. But 1-2 days should be sufficient in most cases. Sales teams are typically pretty eager to get deals closed and cars off the lot.

Thanks for the info. Mine was built on 09/21, so it seems I would not have the issue.

The prep and cleaning doesn’t take but a few hours. As said earlier, it’s more about the dealers volume and staffing.

Our Mustang took a couple of hours, haven't got the Mav yet. But I told them dont wash or detail anything as I prefer to do it myself. Only do the things required. So we had it before lunch on the day it arrived.

Otherwise a day or 2 is usually sufficient to prep

Between an hour and weeks depending on dealer, their workload, and their desire to close the sale. Best to ask the dealer.

Definitely make contact with them if it is there and they haven't contacted you. You don't want to find out in a day or two "We tried to call you but you didn't answer, so we sold it to someone else." Mine arrived at the dealer Saturday, they prepped it yesterday, and I picked it up today. During that brief window they had multiple (read dozens) of inquiries about it and several offers to buy it for more than MSRP. Luckily they were honest and didn't sell it to another buyer.

No close of sale no commission, Yes they want you down the road as soon as possible so they can get their commission check

Depends on vehicle. Techs get it done after all the other booked work is finished. Takes them a couple of hours and paid for three.

They probably need a day or two to install overpriced mandatory dealer add ons. But others have said they can do it in a couple of hours. I do wonder if it being the end of the month they would do it fairly fast.

eek, just saw that my Maverick arrived to my dealer via Ford tracking and I chatted with Ford rep to verify. I just emailed dealer, I hope it all goes smoothly .

Mine was delivered this morning to the dealer and I drove it off the lot by 5pm.
