Today I introduced my Maverick to my other toy, a homebuilt (experimental) Baby Ace open cockpit airplane. I didn't build it it, but I do fly it.

It was 31° today, but I got the 65 hp Continental engine running without any preheating. It doesn't have a starter, so you have to use your arm to get it running. and I actually love that process. And then I did a little bit of flying. The Baby Ace and the Maverick bonded well : )

I'm a little late to the party here but a new owner. Was thinking about ordering for a few months and didn't, couldn't stand the thought of waiting and wondering. I have a line on one that supposedly is to be delivered at the end of the month but I found one a week ago and jumped on it. Just happened to be driving through Tuscola, IL and there was one sitting on the lot. Went back the next day a bought it.

Lariat - First Edition - Area 51.

I would not have ordered a Lariat and didn't even consider the First Edition but I have to admit that I really like all of the extras. I even like the stickers (hope they stay on) and the black roof makes it more unique.

I am going to let my dealer know that I don't need them to hold the one due in but I can provide info if anybody is interested.

Congratulations on your Maverick purchase. We hope you're enjoying being out on the road with it!

I have yet to see one "in the wild," here in the SW part of the state. Anybody else yet to see one or am I just not paying attention?

I've heard Arizona is having a hard time with allocation. I'm wondering if IN is the same way.

I drove up to Sturgis, MI on Friday night to buy mine. Bought it Saturday and drove it back same day.

I love the FE in that color. Hope to see it on the road sometime. I almost ordered the first edition but just got the lariat with lux instead.

I got my window sticker today. Site says it's in production, but it wasn't officially scheduled for production until the 28th. I can see the light at the end of this very, very long tunnel!

On 03/12/2022 received notice that my truck was built. Delivery date is to be week of 04/06 to 04/12 to Ben Davis Ford, Auburn, IN. This is 9 months form my order date of 06/22/2021. So guess my baby will arrive after all. Going to name it Baby Blue.

New Albany, ordered 9/20 from Carriage Ford. I'm still in line for scheduling the build. Iconic Silver Metalic, LXT Lux, lots of extras. I just wish I could get a production email.
