We are newbies to the Maverick world. We decided we needed to think about a new vehicle about a month ago and stumbled on Mavericks, and this page.
We were happy that we were not in a hurry. Had zero expectations on scheduling especially being a hybrid.
We ordered with Granger Ford on Tuesday. 1/23/24.
Just got an email with a scheduled build date of 03/18/24!!!
Holy Cow! Sorry to all those waiting still. 😔

Chili pepper XLT Hybrid with Luxury pkg. Nothing else.

FYI. We will be traveling from New Hampshire to get it. Lots of New England dealers were happy to take orders but we none asked had allocations. We had actually put the exact same order in locally before we learned about allocations. When I asked our local dealer about it he said "if you can find a dealer with allocations go ahead and order!"
Bonus is our daughter and son in law live in Des Moines so we will get to see them too!

Our only issue is we are super busy at work from April to June!

Congratulations on your early tentative build date. Don't be surprised if that date changes a time or two, before it actually gets built. Still, you're lucky for it being so soon after order.

When you get the truck, be aware of the suggested break-in period. During the first 1,000 miles, avoid very hard acceleration and try to keep the max speed under ~70mph.

In real estate is it "location, location, location".
For Ford dealers it is "allocations. allocations, allocations".

I havent been keeping up with orders/allocations since I already got mine from Granger, but all the good work they did the last 2 years seems to have paid off with a huge number of 2024 allocations for them. They deserve it. It will be the quickest easiest car buying experience you've ever had. And you will get a road trip out of it aswell!

It’s certainly easier to get a Maverick built now than it was a year or two ago.
