Not needed since NO engines listed for 2027. Full time stop . Maybe it has the new clean energy engine, hole in the floor for your feet to touch the ground like Little Tyke's cozy coupe.

Now the question is how many will run out and pay MORE for a truck without it. It is turned off right after I release the parking brake. I would have preferred Ford copy GM and make the button a true on off button. My Silverado stayed disabled until I pushed the button to turn it back on.

I agree. Push to start, close garage door, disable Auto Stop Start. I was happy to see my '24 Tremor have the button on the upper dash, rather than in the console.

Wonder if I could make it permanently off bypassing it like I did the lawn tractor PUSH to reverse with blade engaged button?

Its expensive to build in stop/start
Electric pump in the transmission , bigger battery...ect
Good way for them to cut costs
