What's Ford's process for picking order to build?

From a business point of view, why not?! Put more vehicles in hands of the customers quicker..just a fact more vehicles are getting sent to CA, and it only takes 2-3 weeks to get in hands of customer. Why not favor that a little more, no one will ever know who you favor but ford Corp.

From a business point of view, how does putting vehicles in customer hands a few days sooner benefit ford? And since Ford has plants all over the world, what a logistical nightmare that would be: Missouri dealers get more f150s, texas gets more Mavericks, Illinois gets more Tauruses?
