I think the serial part is not just mavericks, it is by plant, so probably includes bronco sports, but I may be wrong.
Mine ends with A84XXX and it was issued in May 2022 and still not built yet, but currently scheduled for next week.
This would not make numerical sense based on the sales/delivered numbers that Ford has been publishing for the Bronco Sport and Maverick. The VIN numbers would be MUCH higher if it included both vehicles. Hermosillo is stated as being able to produce 300,000 units per year total, and even with constraints on customer orders, they would pump out base stock units if there was space on the production schedule.

For example, as of July, Ford said they have produced 66,157 2022 model year Bronco Sports. Add to that 38,753 Mavericks in calendar year 2022, as of July. 19,508 Mavericks in calendar year 2021.

That is already 124,418. Not including any of the production since then, or any of the VIN numbers assigned since then for future production.

Looks like I still have the highest VIN reported so far. B11,5XX

Anyone get a VIN over 111,000? I might have been one of the very last trucks assigned a VIN for MU22.

Currently in production, waiting for modules to populate.

Mine is B129XX (I take it there is some reason for leaving the last two digits off?)
OK, so almost 113,000! That's the new leader in the clubhouse!

That also means that Ford is going to potentially build more Mavericks then they originally projected. I believe that their projected numbers for the MY22 Maverick were between 100,000 and 110,000 units for MY22 in the NA market.

You just apparently had a more constrained constraint or perhaps the allocation wheel of fortune kept landing on the number just left of yours.

It's called dealer allocation. It's complicated and trying to figure it out will make you go crazy.
