Ford has apparently scheduled over 10,000 vehicles today. Largest VIN holding at 189XX.

Vast majority hybrids too. They might actually pull this off by the end of the year.

Edit: I should clarify I mean getting the rollovers done. Remainder of orders will take a while.

If the 18,900 holds, assuming an 80% of those are actually for USOB, Ford has scheduled ~31% of remaining orders today for November. Math suggest Ford schedules the last open orders in January 2024 for EB and March 2024 for Hybrid with the exception of XLs. Those last until April 2024.

By comparison sake, Ford didn't schedule VIN 18900 for MY23 until February 2023. So, Ford is three months ahead of last year already.

Allocations notwithstanding.

This is interesting. Found out yesterday my "new" '24 Lariat EB order was scheduled for the w/o 10/23, yet I just checked on a friends "rollover" Lariat Hybrid order, the '23 was never scheduled, the '24 has not been yet. Ford Marketing claims that it may not be scheduled until after 10/1.

Doubtful given that the Maverick is made in Mexico under a different union. And the UAW isn't talking going whole-hog with the strike at the onset. They will be targeting certain facilities at first and if I'm the UAW, I hit F-150 and Explorer supply before I bother with Maverick parts suppliers.

Ford has historically had better success getting the UAW to agree to terms so I would be surprised if any strike lasts long enough to hurt Maverick.

Do you mean rollovers or both roll overs and current 2024 orders?

Time for another model year VIN tracker

Highest 2024 VIN 19,9XX scheduling through week of Nov 27th

7 weeks of production scheduling, average of over 2757 per week.

The 2022 VIN tracker ended up at 115,1XX but there were around 6,900 that were never produced
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/highest-22-vin-tracker.12919/

The 2023 VIN tracker ended up at 104,1XX
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/highest-23-vin-tracker.22705/

Sequential VIN numbers are assigned to Mavericks as they are initially scheduled for production. This means it can be used to indicate how many vehicles Ford believes they can make through that date from the last 5 digits of the VIN.

It can also be used month to month to see how many vehicles Ford is projecting to make that month.

Please post in this topic if you have a 24 VIN higher than the one listed in this first post. Also include the production week your Mav was initially scheduled when the VIN was assigned.

If you don't want to post your full last 5 digits of your VIN, "XX" out the last two digits. That will tell us within 100 and keep your VIN anonymous.

I will update this first post as higher VIN numbers are posted.

8/24 scheduling for 3 weeks, 7,7XX through week of 10/30
9/1 clean-up scheduling 8,7XX through week of 10/30 +8,700
9/14 scheduling for 4 weeks 19,3XX through week of 11/27
10/5 clean-up scheduling 19,9XX through week of 11/27 +10,900

So what is the logical way they are producing ? Like XL this week XLT that week ??

Do they send out the email about scheduling on a specific day like every thursday or ?

Thanks for your answers

Recent trends have been them sending out scheduling emails on the second Thursday of a month for a scheduling period two months out (so this Thursday for December). They might do some clean-up scheduling during a given week and those aren't as predictable.

Orders are scheduled based on the availability of parts to make them. These are generally planned out before the model year even begins. For instance, this week says no XL and limited XLT for December scheduling. We can infer that Ford predicts to mainly have just Lariat parts available during that time.

High VIN up 30,3XX for only 3 more scheduling weeks, through week of 12/18. An additional 10,400 scheduled.

Someone posted a 56,3XX so that's 26K for 2 months of scheduling. Right at their production rate of 13K for the last two months.
