Does anyone else experience hesitation such as bucking or jerking after putting in a fresh tank of gas? Both hybrid or Ecoboost? It happens almost every time I do. When I go to pull out of the station or accelerate from the first light, it seems to hesitate when it goes from first-second gear. I'm not sure if it's the reaction of the new gas getting mixed with the old gas or if it's the gas itself. I usually fill up once I get the pop-up at 50 miles of range or the occasional time when it hits below 25 miles and get the gas light. I can't be the only one who experiences this so if you have, let me know.

It's happened to me in other cars, but only if I use shell gas. Have you tried different brands or octanes to see if it makes a difference?

I try to use one brand and one octane. Ever since my first car, I've used Mobil 89 octane.

Never an issue with mine. Don’t (if you are) add that extra little bit of gas after the gas pump auto stops filling since it can cause evap system

If its immediately after a fill and for a short time only I'd expect it's a problem with the EVAP system. Are you overfilling your tank?
Not anymore. I did have that bad habit in previous vehicles but was never an issue in those. Just the Maverick.

I haven't experienced this in my Maverick. 2.5 years and 34k miles of ownership from new.
