Got my order in this morning to covert my 2022 leftover from January. The sales person and I both failed to notice it had accidentally been entered in as an AWD but thats ok. I was considering that anyway. Told them to leave it on, might come in handy over the winter. They did put my leftover order in as a priority 10 as they were supposed to. See what happens for try #2. Got the confirmation Email from Ford soon after.

Is there any indication that Ford recognizes it as a rollover order? How are they handling that aside from the special offer?

At least the dealer is giving you priority code 10.

FORD is not doing any prioritization according to @fordvideoguy - the dealers will prioritize the 'rolled-over' MY22 orders (which are actually new MY23 orders). FORD has suggested that the dealers give the 'rolled-over' new MY23 orders a priority 10, and NEW MY23 orders something higher (in the range of 11-19). But there's no requirement that the dealers do this, so don't pi$$ them off!! The only recognition FORD is doing on the unbuilt MY22 orders is using them to issue the private offer against your MY23 order. So don't let your dealer cancel your MY22 order until you have that private offer in hand.

No. You have to completely start over. There's no "leftover" 2022 consideration except the private offer you get at the time of sale when you get your order. The dealers are responsible for putting in your order as a priority 10 above any other new 2023 orders that should be assigned a 19. Basically the place in line is gone. We are all in the same pool as any new 2023 orders so make sure your dealership does the right thing.

I'm not sure how their system works exactly but as a a leftover 2022 that never got scheduled the dealers are supposed to assign us a higher build priority above any new 2023 orders that get taken. Lower the number, the higher the priority build above higher numbers. Obviously with constraint items taken into consideration.

Makes me wonder how many of the 2023 orderers will roll over to MY 2024. Ugh.

I hope they keep 2023 orders short. Ford really needs to play catch-up.

With the changes I did lose the XLT lux pkg items such as the bed liner and the tie down rails on the side of the bed that are now stand alone options but didn't opt to add those back in at an extra cost.

Did you want a Hybrid or EB? If you wanted FWD EB I think they did you a favor.

Thats actually what I initially ordered and wanted. A FWD Ecoboost. Don't need AWD really and don't trust the hybrids yet after the issues we are now encountering with the wife's 2020 2.5 hybrid escape. Same engine and hybrid system the Mavericks have. Its been spending a lot of time at the dealer service dept lately with some similar issues some other folks here have been having. I'll just say with only 18k miles on it. But I'll be fine with AWD, probably a better idea overall with the EB combo

Yea awd will always resale better aswell. And your not gaining any efficiency really with a FWD setup.

I'm surprised you added the XLT lux package.

The priority code is only for that dealer. Meaning, a 10 from that might get priority over a 20 from that dealer, but a 10 from dealer A has zero priority over a 20 from dealer B.

I had that ordered all along. I want the heated seats, steering wheel, and mirrors. And the bed lighting and plug back there will be handy for my uses.
