Help with setting Instant Miles per gallon on my Hybrid FE

Reading the manual & it states that you can set to read "Instant MPG" on the cluster, instead of Average MPG. Haven't been able to accomplish. Any help out there with those that have there Maverick Hybrid.
Ordered 7/26/21 & finally arrived 10/13/22 - 409 days of waiting.

You do it on ur trip meter. So when trip is showing, hit menu, configure view. You need to deselect one of the options and select instantaneous fuel. Like I replaced timer for I fuel.

honestly tho it’s cool for like 30 seconds then it really doesn’t matter. Ur like ok 10mpg, then 20mpg. Then you just don’t care anymore. Lol

On the Lariat (so First Edition as well) IC there's a separate screen that shows the instant MPG as a bar. IIRC it's one 'up' from the Trip screen.

I find it depressing. The engine should do better on this its own. But it showed the true offset of the battery store and use design almost 20mpg extra due to electricity.

That's all I see on my Lariat Lux Hybrid as well. Bar graph that doesn't actually show instant mpg in digital form. Is there Not a Digital mpg reading available? I don't like the bar and guessing the actual mpg.

The engine also has the added load of recharging the battery when possible, so the number is highly misleading.

I would say the coach screen does that better, then you know your limits to keep it in electric and when you can get back in electric only.
