I’ll jump in here as I’ve got an incredible amount of experience tuning eco boost. First I’m not a fan of piggy back. Simply not the correct way to go. In my opinion just upping boost and not any other changes is less safe then a good ecu tune.
For instance I have had Livernois do 5 ecoboost and my gt500. Out of those 3 went over 200k tuned miles and 2 over 350k tuned miles. As for warranty almost nothing is undetectable if they want to find it. I’ve know a few that even got stuff covered while having a tune.
I would have to disagree with a previous poster about a local tuner. Ecoboost are a different animal and local tuners can have issues making them correct. Few stand above all others
I prefer Livernois. If they were not around the next best is Randy from tune works. He used to be lead tuner at montune.
Livernois just has better software to write tunes with than Cobb or hp. They are the only ones to have a true flex fuel for a lot of the ecoboost and mustang world. They have more access to the ecu calibration than Cobb.
One thread on here stated tune plus. That is one guy I would stay very far away from. I could go into details of why but it would be a long write up.
