nz6b-e430C13-ABHere is the hook #.
dealer and fairway ford parts online both couldn’t find this in their system. Any ideas?
That’s the engineering number on the part they should cross that number to the part number

that's the factory tailgate "lock" that comes on the truck, right? If you need to replace it on your Mav, someone who installed a tailgate lock might be willing to part with theirs.

didn't see the tailgate "lock" piece showing anywhere on either site, and the number from it doesn't show up at the local dealer here either????????I really don’t want to part with mine, but have an idea. Thinking it could be heated, reshaped, welded, etc. using mine as a guide?

My XLT came with the McGard tailgate lock installed.
McGard's instructions call for the sheet metal piece to be removed.
My metal bracket was in the glove box.
