In my case YES.
I placed my initial order at Crystal River Ford. They wanted $36,900 out the door.
Chapman Ford is charging me $33,400 out the door. I was drop shipping to Port Richey for $200 Courtesy Drop/Drop Ship fee. There are possible other costs by using a Drop Ship such as Dealer Installed Options (DIO's), fuel, and any misc stuff you may want.

By not shipping I can catch a one way Frontier flight from Tampa for $38, Orlando $58 to TTN. Chapman will courtesy pick up at airport. Instead of driving home, approx 990 miles, I'll catch the Auto Train from Lorton VA to Sanford FL. Depending if wife travels, train is $58 or $189 (private room).
Thanks for mentioning that Auto Train. What a neat and relatively inexpensive way to save some miles on the vehicle and the fatigue of driving ~14hrs. I'm going to have a trade so I'll have to look into a round trip. It's almost 20hrs one way for me (Ocala to Sanford to VA to Chapman and back) but I feel like it is very worth it.

On topic: Ordering from Chapman Ford in Philly, PA. They are also doing the 4% under that the Chapman in Horsham, PA is. Live in Ocala, FL. I did a Google search of the best Ford dealers in FL and contacted the top 10. About half of them seemed like they didn't know anything about the Maverick and the others were MSRP and that was it. I ordered a Lariat 2.5 Hybrid from Chapman and it was a little over 2k savings. For those who don't know, you can join the Florida Farm Bureau for ~$40 and they'll give you a voucher for $500 off the purchase of a Maverick (after I think 60 days).

Mind sharing who the top 10 were?
I read about 3 weeks ago that Orlando was #3 in the USA with orders placed and just a few days ago #4 in reservations.

I don't recall all of them, but I know I called Brandon Ford, Flamer (I think?), Bartow, St. Augustine, and Gaplin (did a search again and looked for memorable names). I wasn't looking for top in reservations but rather top dealers in the state-- which may lean more to giving a discount if it earned some extra business. I didn't check anything from Orlando.

UPDATE!!!
Dropped in at the Auto Train site a few minutes ago and found the SALE was over. The Coach price for a seat is now $89 each. However the Private Room (Roomette) is now $607+. So I guess you need to really watch the site for price changes as you get closer to a delivery date. FYI, the roomette is off now. Bummed

Thanks for that. Some names are staples i.e. Brandon and Bartow. I’m on the west side of Orlando. Mullinex in Apopka is one of the largest in Central Florida. Been around for a long time. I have 2 orders in with them since mid June. Both at MSRP. Been a challenge getting answers but that has more to do with salesman. Not completely dissatisfied as I’ve done business with them already this year. Plus, they now have close to 400 orders so they must be doing something right.. I came very close to canceling a couple weeks ago to go with Chapman or Tim at Long McArthur. Now getting from Chapman would’ve been nice with the 4% discount but once I factored in the actual cost (plus there’s always that unknown hidden cost) to bring down 1 or even 2 vehicles from PA to Orlando, just wasn’t worth it.
Plus I would’ve been losing about 6-7 weeks by starting all over.

There doesn't seem to be any hidden costs with Chapman. Signed buyer's order with the price and a breakdown of the fees (tax, tag, title, PA doc of 394) and you gotta pay a few hundred for a courtesy drop. Factored with the drop it's still a large amount of savings! However I agree dropping your place in line, if there is such a thing, is a hard thing to swallow.

Agreed, no hidden cost with Chapman or McArthur.
Hidden cost I’m referring to is getting vehicle from PA to FL. I looked into both ways, flying up, driving back, flying up, auto train back. There’s always hidden cost doing it this way.
Lowest cost is the courtesy drop. Just need to really dot the i’s and cross the t’s. It can be done. Best of luck to you.
Would be cool to start a Central Florida meet up group. Be neat to meet up with other Maverick owners.

Naples here. I ordered the Lariat with lux pkg and 360 co pilot. Hard folding cover and a few other goodies.
Cape Coral here. Maybe we can do a monthly meet at a place in Fort Myers called the Maverick Grill once we get our new trucks.

Stealership - Sam Galloway Ford in Fort Myers
XLT - Velocity Blue with trailer hitch, full size tire and Copilot360.

Dealer sent me an email from Ford saying mine is schedule for week of Sept 13th, But when I order track on Ford web site with the vin number it just says order confirmation. Things have been misleading or not jiving for sure.

Getting a spray custom color bed liner and hard roll up cover from Line X in Sarasota first thing.

Stealership fees are about 900 dollars. Of course going to have to play the game of what kind of trade in number I will get for my 2013 Ram 1500. Thank god the internet now to give you a idea what it should be.

Too bad you don't have more time! If they participated in x-plan pricing you coulda knocked those dealer fees to just $100!

New post: Just received an unpleasant email from the Dealership I had thought I would purchase from nearby in F

I worked with 3 different dealerships in this area and they all acted like children when I requested and then pushed for information and or updates... I would describe their responses akin to "Trophy participation" mentality... glad they got to participate but win or lose... they were happy just to be participating as opposed to "vying and competing" for a victorious WIN!! The sickness in this country with WOKE and Comfortable conversations is unbelievable and disastrous! Here is the Email sent to me:

Mr. Miner, we’ve received your unexpected review. (My insert: Yelp review) After reviewing your antagonistic communications with our dealership, combined with your doubts regarding doing business with us, we have come to the conclusion that it is in our mutual best interest to allow you to process your order through another dealership. We have responded to each of your requests as respectfully and as timely as possible to the best of our team’s abilities. It’s a very rare occurrence for us reach this decision, but ultimately, we found the tonality of your requests and expectations to be both unrealistic and unobtainable.
(My edit of actual name) Dealership FORD near Riverview, FL

All he needed to do was to write something akin to: "Mr. Miner, after reading your review on line we would like to arrange a meeting to discuss this matter, build your confidence in our dealership and conclude with a successful transaction on this Maverick Truck you so desire. What is a convenient time for us to arrange a 30-45 minute conversation?"

Bingo, that sets the table, we all sit down and have a discourse of gentlemanly discussion which leads toward a resolution or an impasse. That leaves open the door for opportunity to sell this vehicle, future services and follow up leads from my network of friends and family. His manner closes the door completely - with no room for restoration! Once again... UNBELIEVABLE.

BTW I sent over 3-4 glowing comments emails... which of course, were totally ignored.
I'm sure I've mentioned this before but I made a reservation with every single south Florida dealership and they're uncommunicative and incompetent at best and outright thieves and scumbags at worst. Placed my order with Bozard Ford in St. Augustine.

Whats your thought about Sawgrass Ford? They claimed 0 dealer fees, and MSRP pricing and got the highest 4.9 rating on google

I don't recall, I dealt with so many before placing my order elsewhere. There's still documentation fees and tons of other crap they can tack on.

And as far as online reviews go, I don't trust any of them. People literally leave one star reviews for things like the Great Wall of China and the pyramids of Giza, FFS.

Remember that allocation plays a huge part into when you will get a truck. I would call and ask what their allocation has been so far and how deep their order stack is. Tom is doing below the invoice pricing so that he can get massive allocations. These allocations just reset on the 15th, so we should see a pretty big improvement from even the previous month
