Some of you may find this helpful!
I did not order my truck, i drove by my local Ford dealer and saw the truck sitting there Alto blue with fx4 and 4k towing exactly what i wanted ( i would have settled for any color) i stopped in and bought it on the spot. The point is it had no heated seats witch was disappointing and the salesman said we can do heated seats no problem, for $550.00 Cnd, they remove the seats upholstery and install a carbon fiber heated mold and a small discreet switch on the side of each seat it has low, high and off. Works great super warm and the nice thing is i can leave the switch in the on position when i exit and when i do a remote start my seats are warm when i get in. Also the since the dealer did it i get full warranty coverage and it took most of a day and no labour charge. No regrets best thing ever.

Hope this helps someone.

Thanks for sharing. I’m interested in doing the same. I have a Hybrid Lariat on order but did not want to $3000+ for the Lux package just to have heated seats.
Edit:

can you post pics of the switch install points please?

That seems a little steep but dealer installed usually is. I'm getting an XL which has no heated seats but will be doing that as an upgrade as well. I've watched a number of YouTube videos and it looks fairly straight forward.

FYI the heat package is not just heated seats. Heated seats, mirrors and steering wheel.

Agreed, it comes with a lot more than just heated seats and it costs $2345 not $3000+ like Maverick-guy suggested.

Yep that’s just one small thing out of the whole package.

Yeah, I missed that he mentioned that he has a Lariat on order so that is were his $3000+ pricing comes from. But it still comes with more than just heated seats.

Without trying to put words in Maverick-guy's mouth, I think he was trying to indicate he only had interest in the heated seats, not anything else in the package. That's why he was/is unwilling to spend $3K. I can understand and respect that point of view.

Thanks, I contemplated financing the additional package, I just don't have the need/want for all the extra stuff based upon multiple factors applicable to my situation.

It was not about money the truck was sitting there ready to purchase and i did on the spot, it was not there the day before it had fx4 and 4 k towing and available so sure i would have loved heated steering but?? Lifes about choices so?? I chose a truck now!

Also, keep in mind he quoted it in Canadian Dollars. $550 CAD is approximately $430 USD.
