My experience with Henry Curtis Ford in Petaluma, California was completely positive. Mike Pardue (sales representative) had created a no pressure environment when ordering back in early July 2021. He clearly explained the restrictions at that time prior to any difficulties that exist today. It took 8 months for the hybrid to arrive and I ordered the basic warranty policy before I took ownership. It’s a no frills truck and has all the latest updated bells and whistles that still is in the range of simplicity. It’s worth the wait and so far it’s an excellent product produced by Ford.
They didn’t add the 3k markup? When I ordered in August I was told MSRP- didn’t get a binding contract (never needed one before), went back to see a few and they all had 3k adm’s. Still haven’t gotten a build date on mine, but I am expecting it to be like the others I had seen.

I ordered an XLT hybrid on the last possible day 10-15. A couple of weeks later I walked onto the lot at Jack Garrett Ford in Spencer WV and they had a Silver FX4 which they were going to sell to me at sticker price. I decided to wait for my hybrid. Jan 28 2022 I had left work early and stopped by to change my order color to hot pepper red and they had just received a hot pepper red XLT FX4. This time I decided not to wait and they sold it to me at sticker price. Neither time did they try to add any extra. I am going to buy my hybrid from them when it arrives too.

I ordered my Mav from Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas in August and got it almost exactly 3 months later in November. The order process went perfectly. They knew what they were doing when writing a special order. Ford emails came through regularly. I bought it at MSRP plus $499 doc fee plus sales tax. They were very honorable.

Fast forward to this past week after my wife decided she wanted to trade her SUV for a new Ford Explorer. We got miraculously lucky by finding one at Gaudin Ford that was the color and equipment level (Rapid Red, Limited) we wanted. Because it was a retail unit, they initially asked $4,000 for ADM. However, when I reminded them that I was a returning customer, they immediately knocked off the $4k, so I bought it at MSRP, plus they honored the $1,000 Ford rebate as well. I got an okay/decent value on my trade in, but overall, we're very happy.

Hoping the service department will be at least as good, now that I'm married to it.

Last (and first) Ford was 40 years ago, now I two bought in four months!

I ordered mine through Mullinax Ford of Vero Beach and had zero issues. Pressure-free, accommodating and knowledgeable salesman and general manager, and in and out in 2 hours. I got the Maverick at MSRP which was a huge relief. The deposit put in half a year ago was used as part of the down payment so I didn't have to put a significant amount of money down. I don't regret it whatsoever. I absolutely adore my Maverick. It drives like a dream.

My dealer has been good. He managed to get me $500 below MSRP and is ok me bugging him numerous times. I have no complaints about the dealership or my sales guy. I’m Canadian we are nice to everyone lol. He also got me to switch to LUX Pkg version with the drop in bedliner and set-up the Spray-in bediner from Line-X at the dealership. I can’t really blame the Sales guy when it’s Ford Corporate that can’t figure things out.

Well was sympathetic to the dealerships lower than normal volume and knowing not all dealers accept x-plans, which did not even know about at the time of ordering. Mind you my estimated delivery is not until the week of Sept 26th, but called the sales manager to let them know about having a VIN.

He asked me to come in and when reminded him that he said he would take my pin # when the truck was delivered. Wanted me to talk with him and the owner, since would be in town that Friday.

This was my thought process and perhaps some think was to easy but figured if he was going to honor the price protection, doing the 48 month 0.9% Ford financing that would compromise on the x-plan and simply ask for the $100 in Documentation fee. He said he could take the few hundred off especially since had a trade in.

The sales manager asked to copy the price protections sheet that @fordvideoguy supplied on a video. Also had the Ford Price listed posted on the MTC on guessing 6/8/2021, 2022 MAVERICK PROPRIETARY PRICE LIST (PRICE LEVEL CODE 215). Now had this marked up with the Invoice price then the 0.4% subtraction and the $275 admin fee and the MRSP price and x-plan pin numbers. Said this was so he could remember what we talked about when the truck arrives.

The price list from 6/8/21 showed me not advocating for the x-plan $700* price reduction on the Lariat, Lux, Moonroof, Alto Blue paint as well. Told him the caveat was that would trade in for the same price as Carmax and Carvana offers and there was no advantage with the dealer as will not be paying sales tx having a disable veterans plate in Massachusetts.

He knows how to do price protection and feel Gervais Ford is a good dealer and with their allocations, can see my more constraint order was schedule over simpler builds from mid-October.

* Came out to 722 using the same percentage on the moonroof of applying to the 995 price change.

Good will/vibrations, being companionate and build respectful relationships has a value. Especially after hearing some peoples bad experiences.

TOP NOTCH!! I actually bought two Mavericks from them. MSRP, no add ons, Good Communication.

Their trade in allowances were not up par, but they were honest about it and didn’t ā€˜punish’ me for selling them elsewhere.

I would highly recommend this dealer.

I bought my hybrid from Berglund Ford in Salem, VA. Completely transparent from the beginning and it all went well. They were really cool dealing with a minor service issue earlier and I hope for the same with this fuel vapor recall.
