Got a dash mat a few months back. I noticed a little corner of the dash was a little shiny from the dash mat rubbing. Took the dash mat off to this horror show. It’s dry like that. I used a detailer spray to “hide” it. I hope it doesn’t come back.

Maybe just get a higher quality one. One of the velour ones instead of the speaker box carpet style I bought. It doesn’t cut down any noise. Definitely reduced glare.

I use it as a dash cam. The SJCAM SJ6 has a mode to turn on when it receives 12 volts.

It was from autoanything. I’m not sure why the dash looks like that. Off gassing plus heat? Not sure.

I got my dash mat from cover craft and don't seem to have any problems With it so far made in America

With how cheap Ford's plastics are, I'd rather have a plywood dash.
