Hauling kayak on Elevate Racks

Trying out the fit of my Wavewalk kayak on the Elevate Racks for the tow down to Islamorada. Will have 2 Lectric bikes under the tonneau cover.

It only weighs 90 lbs and is easy to load. Can’t pull a trailer when towing the truck.

That's a heck of a kayak....I can tell you my kayak doesn't have an outboard motor on it

You might look for some ditch light brackets that mount at the hood and the windshield, that would keep the ropes from scratching the paint on your hood

13’ and paddles very easily if you don’t want a motor. Seating is very comfortable, much like sitting on a jet ski. I have 2 portable folding seats with backrest the wife and I use, plus I have an umbrella that we carry for hot sunny days.

I cary my 13.6' tandem kayak regularly. Works great on a regular Thule roof rack.
